From Minnesota to a Camel to Sand Dunes

Recently friend KS visited from Minnesota. We flew off to Qatar to see prbecca and she immediately found us some adventure! KS got to ride on the camel pictured, and we were treated to first class bedouin hospitality.

 The person in the middle was some sort of important person because they made sure we had our picture taken with him. And that they got a picture of us with their cell phones. It was a grand serendipidous adventure!

 Later that evening, we went to the Singing Sanddunes, which I thought for sure was a rock singing group! Turns out that one had to slide down on one's butt (or run down in my case) and a deep resonating sound would be created. It was silly, but fun. We enjoyed ourselves immensely in the Jewel of Qatar!
